Day 1 Perth - Pemberton.

Travel south along the coastal route, via Mandurah to Bunbury. Then inland to rich farming areas Donnybrook - home of the Granny Smith apple, Bridgetown on the Blackwood River, Manjimup - timber and commercial centre, before before reaching Pemberton - nestled amongst the towering Karri forests. 

Overnight: Forest Lodge B & B. 

Day 2 Pemberton - Margaret River.

Explore Pemberton National Park with its enormous karri trees, climb to the top of the Gloucester Tree look-out. See The Valley of the Giants and experience the ‘Tree Top Walk’ - discover the mighty forests of the Walpole National Park. Very picturesque drive to the Margaret River region. Stop off at Augusta and Cape Leeuwin lighthouse, where the Indian and Southern oceans meet and whales are spotted in season. Go down Mammoth, Jewel or Lake caves deep below the forest. 

Overnight: Kangaridge B&B [B] 

Day 3 Margaret River Region.

Experience the hospitality of one of the many wineries, enjoy tastings and a tour, lunch or dinner.  Enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery, surf the world class waves or find a secluded beach. View the many galleries and potteries in the area, or relax in a cafe tucked away in the forest. 

Overnight: Kangaridge B&B [B] 

Day 4 Margaret River - Perth

Time for a last gallery or winery visit. Why not go back via the inland route taking in country farming towns such as Harvey and Pinjarra.
