The MV Captain Cook’s Explorer is a small cruise ship, taking no more than 120 passengers. Because passenger numbers are never large, service is personal and your cruising experience is individual. Among our friendly and well-informed crew we carry specialist local commentators who not only know Sydney from top to bottom, but also entertain while they pass their knowledge on to you.
Dining, specialising in fresh local produce, is a highlight of your weekend experience aboard You will enjoy hearty buffet breakfasts, al fresco luncheons that feature fresh local seafood and a la carte dinners in contemporary Australian style.
Facilities Three passenger-accommodation decks; ‘A Deck’ dining room and cocktail bar with panoramic harbour views; covered ‘Sun Deck’ for al fresco dining, sightseeing and relaxation; lounge and library; games chest and video.
Accommodation The MV Captain Cook’s Explorer has 61 cabins each with private bathroom ensuite, on/off air- conditioning, soaps, shampoo and towels; serviced daily. Outside Cabins (43) on B and C Decks open onto the outside deck and have picture windows. Most have twin beds. (twin/double). Inside Cabins (18) on D Deck open onto an inside passageway. Most have upper and lower berths. (twin/double/single)
Cost: Inside Cabin bunk beds, AUD 420.00 per person , for sole use 630.00. Outside Cabin Twin Beds AUD 540.00 per person, for sole use 810.00. A surcharge of AUD 50.00 applies to all cabins with double beds.
Fuel surcharge of AUD 10.00 per person.
